QUESTION: Where did Hippie Cookies come from?

ANSWER:

Hippie cookies were originally named by my friend Annie who lives and breathes in Boulder, CO.

They came out of a huge personal diet change I made when I was on the verge of getting diabetes and was 35 pounds heavier. I love oats but never liked America’s love for oatmeal-raisin cookies. I mean, where was the chocolate? Every meal should include that antioxident of dark choc chips. Then i added the craisins–a little tang that made it yummier!!! It worked and has been a huge success.

The only problem is that if there are leftovers, I want to eat each and every one!
